Athletics

The month of May saw a return to the East Leinster Athletics Championships in
Morton Stadium, Santry.
The two-day event saw the school represented in 100m Sprints, 3000m, Shot
Put, Long Jump, and the school's first-ever girls relay team, among others. We
were blessed with two days of glorious sunshine, and standout performances in
the 100m from Gavin Fusco and Paul Kiiza. Kyle Taite in Shot Put ensured the
2024 East Leinsters was a scorching success!
I would like to thank all the
students who represented their
school so well over the two
days and for their efforts in
training in the build-up to the
event.
Also, a special word of thanks
must go to Mr. O Feinneadha
for lending his expertise over
the two days, and of course to
Mr. Boyd for organising all of
the great sporting events
throughout the year.
