Border Hoppin' Adventure
A Thrilling 4-Day School Tour Across Europe

Over 30 Transition Year and 5th Year students recently embarked on an
unforgettable 4-day School Tour organised by Saffron Travel, accompanied by
teachers Mr Brennan, Mr Forde, and Ms O'Donnell. The adventure spanned three
Day 1: Brussels and Ghent
The journey began with an early start
at Dublin Airport, as excited students
gathered at 3 a.m. for their flight to
Brussels. Upon arrival, a coach
whisked them away to the charming
city of Ghent, where they enjoyed a
captivating town tour.
The students marveled at the
mediaeval architecture, followed by
lunch and a serene canal cruise
where they took in the beautiful views
of historic Ghent from a riverside
perspective.
The next stop was the bustling heart
of Brussels, where they explored the
stunning Grande Place, got to get
pictures with the famous Manneken
Pis fountain, and indulged in some
world-famous Belgian waffles.
