Croke Park Stadium Tour
During Active Schools Week, the TYs took a trip to the iconic Croke Park Stadium
and Museum where the TYs walked in the footsteps of legendary athletes and
were given a guided tour of the stadium grounds, the player changing rooms, the
private player bar, the press box, and the president’s seating section.
The tour guide shared fascinating stories of the
stadium's origins and its significance in Irish
sports and culture. The students got to explore
the museum’s interactive exhibits and learn about
the evolution of Gaelic games and the enduring
spirit of the game in preserving a sense of pride
in Irish cultural heritage. They even got to put
their GAA skills to the test and see if they have
what it takes to make it as a pro player!
