As always never hesitate to contact the school if you are worried or concerned about your son
or his progress. We will always try to do our best to support in any way we can.
I ask for St John Baptiste La Salle’s blessing on this term, that it may be a safe, successful and
happy one for everyone. I would also on behalf of the Board of Management, staff and
students of DLSC like to wish our Muslim students and their families every blessing during this
time of Ramadan as they prepare to celebrate the Festival of Eid al-Fitr.

Spring

Nothing is so beautiful as Spring –
When weeds, in wheels, shoot long and lovely an
lush;
Thrush’s eggs look little low heavens, and thrush
Through the echoing timber does so rinse and
wring
The ear, it strikes like lightnings to hear him sing;
The glassy peartree leaves and blooms, they
brush
The descending blue; that blue is all in a rush
With richness; the racing lambs too have fair their
fling.
What is all this juice and all this joy?
A strain of the earth’s sweet being in the beginning
In Eden garden. – Have, get, before it cloy,
Before it cloud, Christ, lord, and sour with sin-
