Student Council News

So far in this current school year the Student
Council has been hard at work. We have met
regularly as a group and have also had the
opportunity to meet with Ms Foster on a number
of occasions. As always the focus of these
meetings is ensuring the students of De La Salle
needs and wants are met.

This year we have a committed and hardworking
group of students within the council, who have
been hard at work researching and implementing
ideas within the school. These include new lunch
tables in our Assembly Hall, new equipment for
all sports, new books and games for the library
and finally the potential introduction of a trendy
new school jacket. As a group we are very happy
with the progress made to date and look forward
to our work coming to fruition.

We wouldn't of been able to accomplish these
goals without the constant cooperation and help
of Ms Foster, Mr Kirwan and Mr Chambers who
ensure that the student voice is heard and our
ideas and input are valued.
