Rugby Rolling On

The game we love is here to stay. We now have 4 teams playing and training and getting
better each year. Our 1st year boys, our 1st year girls, our junior team and of course our
senior boys. They have all had competitive seasons with all the things that rugby brings.
Some hard lessons, moments of hilarity, some creative genius and healthy dish of hard
work. Last year at our annual De La Salle day lunch we were lucky to be in the company of
the 1983 cup winning team. Their captain Michael McCardle declared that in the year prior
to this win he had moment of clarity, a moment of self proclamation. He was ambitious
and wanted more from himself and those around him. He wrote

Be it
Ambition is still here with us today. Our visions are our own and we are
excited about the future of the game and what it brings for our school and students. We
can take Michael's words and make them our own. So while the game rolls on so too does
our vision of what it can do. While the season is wrapping up and we have few small games
to play we are proud of what we have done. We are proud of our past, proud of our
present and look to the future with a smile. We Are Salle
