Big Little Treasure Hunt
Next the TYs ventured into St Stephen's
Green to take on the “Big Little Treasure
Hunt”, a history facts scavenger hunt
through Stephen’s Green and the city,
challenging students to work together to
solve clues and complete tasks in order to
uncover hidden gems and lesser-known
historical landmarks. A very pleasant, fun,
yet competitive afternoon was had by all,
not to mention the many historical lessons
learned about Dublin's most famous
Georgian Square.
Irish Dancing
A group of our TYs truly got into the spirit
of Seachtain na Gaeilge this year, as they
put on their dancing brogues and learned
some Irish Dancing. They learned four
dances - the Walls of Limerick, Shoe the
Donkey and the Siege of Ennis and An
Dreoilín. All of this practice paid off as they
went on to teach the dances to our 1st
Year students in a great, fun-filled event!
