1st Year 2024
What impressed me most about this group of fantastic boys and girls was the good humour and
constant fun that they brought everyday to the corridors of the College. The friendships that
developed throughout the year were testament to the kindness that they showed to each other
and we look forward to seeing this blossom into the future.
As the first co-ed class group in the college’s history, their transition to secondary school was
seamless. They were a pleasure to look after and I look forward to seeing their progression and
their undoubted successes as they journey through their De La Salle career.
Many thanks to all the First Year parents for their constant communication and support
throughout the year and to all their teachers and coaches who have ensured that the boys and
girls had an amazing school experience inside and outside the classroom.
My biggest thanks is to their tutors, Mr. Leigh, Ms. Doolin and Ms. Madden who were always
there for the boys and girls and in particular to our wonderful team of SNAs for their constant care
and support to all our students in De La Salle College, Churchtown.
