The Class of 2024 had a great send off at the end of May . The Graduation Ceremony was as
always a poignant but joyful occasion. Parents and staff came together as the Sixth Years
looked back over the years, on their time in DLSC and to celebrate their achievements and
successes. I would like to thank Fr John Bracken, Parish Priest of the Good Shepherd for
leading the congregation in an uplifting liturgical celebration. Well done and congratulations to all
the students who were Sixth Year Academic and Sports Award winners. Congratulations to this
year’s worthy winner of the Student of the Year 2024 Award, John Cleary and to Anthony
Downes who was the recipient of the prestigious Spirit of Lasalle Award. Oliver Walkin Bell was
presented with the John Corbet Award for his artistic talent, creativity and contribution to the Arts
in DLSC.

I would like to commend all of the Class of 2024 for the contribution they have made to the
school. Throughout the years, they were a diverse, positive and kind year group, offering support
and guidance to each other and the younger students in the College. Many students were
members of committees like the Green Schools and the Student Council, working with
management and staff to contribute to the ongoing development of the school. We are all very
proud of this group of Lasallian gentlemen! We hope they get the exam results they deserve
and have no doubt that they will go on to do great things and make a positive contribution in the
world. On behalf of all the staff and students in the college, I wish them health, happiness and
success and every blessing for the future.
