Student Enterprise Award

A group of second year students from our De La Salle Enterprise Club came up with
a fantastic concept and product this year. The students are avid bakers and
passionate about their products. Their baked goods were a sell out at the De La
Salle Christmas Fair so we knew they had something special to offer with their
business.
The team named their mini company ‘Bear Break’ and entered the DLR Student
Enterprise Awards in Dun Laoghaire on 28 February.
They came in at 3rd place in the Junior section with the judges commenting on the
‘extremely tasty baked goods’ that they had produced.
It was a great experience for all concerned and one which we hope to partake in
again next year.
