“One Man, One Life, One La Salle”
Our National Lasallian competition to celebrate
the life of Jean Baptiste La Salle took place on
the 14th of March in Castletown, Co Laois.
This is always a great opportunity for our
students to celebrate the enormous
contribution that Jean Baptiste La Salle has
made to education in Ireland and worldwide.
Jean Baptiste set up the first non-fee paying
school in France and we now have over 1000
Lasallian schools in 80 countries.
A Lasallian education is not only about access to
quality education, it also celebrates diversity,
inclusiveness and the community contribution
to education.
